a couple updates

tonight tanner and i decided to go see a movie. there are a lot of movies we have been wanting to see, but tanner has been dying to see beowulf so we decided to see that. big mistake. seriously, the worst movie i have ever seen. going into the movie i had a feeling i wouldn't really like it (i didn't care to see it at all), but wow. i cant remember how many times during the movie i thought that there was no way it should be rated pg-13. this definitely with no question should have been an r rated movie. the basic story line that i got out of it was that angelina jolie's character would try and convince whoever the present king was at the time to have sex with her to give her a son, and i guess made appealing promises to them in return. of course it ended up being a curse and the son that she had ended up being demon monsters (just like her) and would kill everyone. worst movie ever. i have never read the book so i cant compare the movie to that, but to me the story line was terrible. i didn't care at all about any of the characters. it was the most grotesque gory movie i have ever seen. and angelina jolie's character was naked the entire time. and i mean naked. she had streaks of gold "paint" on her, but they made a point of showing off as much of her body as possible. pretty much the moral of my venting (because the movie sure didn't have one) is to please not see the movie! truly terrible!!

on a better note, i had my second doctor's appointment today. it was a really simple one and not much happened. of course we had a couple questions for him, and true to fashion he told me i could do whatever i wanted. but most importantly in a week from tomorrow tanner and i get to find out the sex of our baby!! i cant wait!

i am trying out a new background for a while. according to carly mine was too boring before : ) i guess we'll see how this one works!
