valentines day suprise

On recommendation, tanner and i decided to go to dinner at a nice restaurant in beverly hills called crustacean. we wanted to save money so we decided to forget about presents, and just go for the cards and dinner. its going to restaurants like this that make me wish that i actually knew stuff about interior design so that i could help design a place like that. the picture above is a picture of the inside of the restaurant, and what you see is a glass walkway over water that has fish in it. it was beautiful. anyways, we sat down at our table and realized that we were sitting next to bow wow, omarion, reverend run's daughter, and some of their friends. so that was somewhat interesting, but what was even more interesting was being handed a menu. apparently they had a four course special for valentines that we weren't aware of. and what we thought was going to be a 40 dollar meal ended up being a 250 dollar meal. 250 DOLLARS!! 110 dollars per person, with a tip already included. our plan on saving money didn't really work out as planned. between eating and us leaving the restaurant, we also saw courtney cox and david arquette, chris brown, jamie foxx, and chris tucker. for the most part, it was a young, black, and famous gathering. tanner and i had a great time at dinner, and made it home just in time to watch lost! i know, we are so romantic. you'd think we would make a bigger deal out of valentines considering its only been our second one being married, third overall, but oh well. i hope everyone else had a great valentines too!

oh, and i would just like to say, i wanted tanner to bring the camera cause i looked really preggers in the dress i was wearing...but he left it at work. so we dont have any pictures from that night...but we took some pics this past weekend so pictures of me pregnant are coming i promise! i should probably post the most recent ultrasound picture of baby boy with the 3D one as well!

Meg, that's awesome! I can't believe you saw all those people. And how was the food? I hope it was amazing! What did you order? Sounds like a fantastic valentine's day to me!

I can't wait to see pics of you!

linds- the food was pretty good. "fancy" food tends to scare me a little and they served mostly seafood (which i dont eat either) so tanner and i had little to pick from. we started with little sushi looking things that were wrapped in rice paper with tofu (which i dont like....wow. how picky do i sound with food right now?) and some veggies. for our second course we had a ridiculously small salad, then we had ratatouille for our third course which was pretty good. lastly we had a delicious chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream! it was quite an experience!
