yet another fun outing to park golf
and we had to drag eli from hole to hole whether he wanted to come along or not.
we had fun walking down odori park while the autumn festival was going on. this is also where the ice sculpture festival is in the winter.
eli loved trying to walk bella ... which didnt always work out the best. but they had a lot of fun together (even though their playing was definitely a little rough at times) and eli will definitely miss her.
we went to a cute town called otaru and unfortunately couldn't stay for too long but still got to enjoy the city. they have soft serve ice cream all over the place, and are also known for glass blowing so they have some really cute glass sculptures.
eli and one of his favorite places to play
this is about ten minutes from my parents house. this pretty pathway leads up to a little temple on the top of the hill.
this in every single other one. he didn't feel like cooperating with pictures.
after walking up to the little temple, we went on a drive to this pretty walking park that over looks sapporo.
sapporo has a river that runs through the city, so we decided for our last full day to go walk around the park that goes along the river. unfortunately the weather wasn't wanting to cooperate with us that day. part of it was nice and sunny, so we decided to get mini milkshakes and fries at mc donalds as a little snack. eli has never had free reign on a milkshake before, and when he got ahold of my mom's, he wouldn't stop sucking. seriously. like, he drank the whole thing and probably took 4 little breaks. i think eli takes after his mom with having a love for milkshakes. by the way, i love his pinky in this picture.
unfortunately when we left it was dark, windy, and raining. so this is our walk on the way back to the car. of course when we got back to the car it got sunny again. oh well!
on my last night here we went to the top of a mountain to over look sapporo with all its pretty night lights. it was a little cold but definitely still worth it!
we'll see you soon tanner!
