we have been loving this christmas season. i've been waiting for eli to be able to grasp what christmas is all about and he is so into it this year. he likes saying, "ho, ho, ho. fairy christmas!" and "its the holidays... thats christmas time" (like he is explaining what "the holidays" is to me, in the same way i explained to him). eli loves the old school rudolph movie and the polar express. we have two bells on our christmas tree from when tanner and i rode "the polar express" aka the heber creeper a few years ago and when eli saw it he held the bell in his hand and quietly said, "i believe" just like the boy did in the movie. that sure melted my heart. as is tradition, we watched a christmas movie while we decorated our christmas tree, enjoyed some hot chocolate, and read twas the night before christmas. i sure do love this time of year.

taking a rest when we were done decorating. and yes, isaac was getting the old school sock treatment on his hands cause they were super dry...but he obviously didnt seem to mind.

we had our ward christmas party last night and got to see santa at the end. eli was excited to the point where he ran outside a couple times to see if he could see santa in the sky. but, when it came time to meet him, eli was not interested at all and didn't want tanner to put him down. isaac on the other hand was quite a fan of santa. he just sat and stared at him for like 30 seconds straight in awe. it was very cute.

take one...
take two...
the pictures and videos were taken with my phone so don't mind the quality...

this is an awesome post. I love the video. you surely have a cute family. Are you reconsidering doing the shared family house thing yet?
It was all from tanner's plug for myspace that the star wouldn't stay on :) Your tree looks great and it sounds like a great start to december! I love all the pictures and I am suprised that Eli didn't love sitting on santa's lap, that would seem right up his alley. I love how much he is talking and how cute he is when he says everything!!!
What excitement at your house. Christmas with children is so wonderful! I love the pictures and video. You are such a great mom.
Your tree makes me happy! So beautiful!
