labor day

tanner and i have season tickets to universal studios so since he had the day off on monday we decided to go for a few hours. we had a lot of fun and its nice having a pass because you dont feel any pressure to try to cram a lot of things into one day. we watched a couple shows, went on the studio tour, and tanner went on the mummy ride while i fed eli. here are some pictures from the day...

this scares me. i hope eli (and the rest of my future kids) dont get injured from tanner who likes to do things i dont approve of

eli and i on the city walk on our way into universal studios

in line for the studio tour

unfortunatly eli had a rough ride. i tried giving him a bottle but it was way too bumpy so that didnt work out so he got a little fussy. i calmed him down, and a few minutes later there was a special effects demo with fire so we felt a sudden heat wave which scared him and also made him start crying. right after i got him calmed after that, there was a little jurrasic park part where dinosaurs popped up out of no where and sprayed water...and somehow eli got sprayed right in the face, which also resulted in crying. poor guy! luckily after that he fell right alseep and missed out on the rest of the excitement. of course in these pictures he is happy

apparetly eli needed a diaper change

the war of the worlds set is behind us. notice eli is tucked safely under the blanket where no sudden heat waves or water can get to him
