tanner, eli and i just got home last weekend. we have been house sitting in santa barbara for about 10 days while tanner's parents were in peru. luckily bj (tanner's brother) and shannon (my sister) are cool and easy so we had a fun time.
it was nice living in a house for a little while. but it was even nicer to have a backyard. i loved being able to leave the back door open and let eli wander in and out as he pleased. he spent a lot of time outside everyday playing with toys, bugging zuki (elton's dog), and exploring. here are some shots of eli having fun and wishing we had a yard to play in all the time -

as much as i love our apartment, i obviously will be very excited to someday move into a house with a backyard!

just wait till he meets bella. zuki seems pretty mellow but bella is a spaz! I wish you had a backyard too, but that will come! santa monica is the best so enjoy it while you can :)
your child is adorable. Shan is sad that you left but that's so awesome that you guys can be close.
