the past two weeks have been interesting for us. we've seen: strep throat, the flu, extreme cold's, croup, rash's (both on (isaacs) face and bum), diarrhea, high fevers, sinus infection, and teething.
i was so annoyed that i wasn't feeling better two nights before ry and shan came into town i asked tanner for a priesthood blessing. i dont know why, but i dont like asking for things. i've only ever asked for one other blessing, and that was from my dad when i was trying to decide if tanner was the man for me (luckily we know how that turned out : ). the blessing was actually a really special experience, and was pretty much told that i have been blessed to have the priesthood in my home, and to not wait for so long to ask to receive blessings from it. i'm also very grateful for great friends who go get formula for me since i couldn't go to the store when i was sick and was worried about isaac's bottle situation, who then surprised me with yummy chicken noodle soup as well.
although isaac is still on his meds for his sinus infection (and that he still has diarrhea), i'd say we are all finally healthy, which is a great feeling. like i mentioned in my last post, ryan and shannon came to see us which was awesome. unfortunately i wasn't feeling great the first couple days, and eli and isaac coughed/snotted on them too many times to count... but they hid their disgust well : )

we weren't the best at taking pictures, but the camera bag is in tanner's car so i'll do a different post on those activities later. for now, these are the only two pics i have of shan and ryan on my phone -
on sunday. shan and i took both boys to the doctor that morning while tanner and ryan went to a baby blessing. that evening we went to the beach (it was a little colder than expected so we didn't stay long).
and really there are no explanation for these next pictures we took this morning. we are enjoying having a healthy, lazy friday morning that was supposed to be spent cleaning... but i can't seem to pull myself away from the computer for too long since i feel like i have a lot to catch up on since i've been "away" so no cleaning has been done yet. and i'm okay with that.
